Interested in deepening the discussion about new Nile projects, the website as a platform explores the engagements of water users, planners and researchers in multiple projects of river basin development. By experimenting with different theories and methodologies of representing river basin development experiences, we aim to open up new perspectives on the simultaneous transformation of the Nile water distribution, differences between its users and categories through which these are known.

There is no doubt that sanctions proposed by a foreign power will have the same effect as 1896, when Ethiopians from all walks of life banned together to successfully defend their independence from a would be colonizer. The proposed sanctions will only galvanize support for the federal government.

Since the conflict began the Ethiopian government has been battling, not just the terrorists, but malicious foreign forces and misleading information from western governments and mainstream media – the BBC, CNN, New York Times, Facebook etc. The US, which is widely believed to be indirectly arming the TPLF, have led the misinformation campaign, and appear (together with the UK and EU) to have sanctioned the TPLF’s attack on Ethiopia.
